Improve of the socio-economic and cultural condition of the community.

UDP stands for socio-economic and cultural development of the marginalized sectors of the society especially children, adolescents, women, indigenous people and other individuals ostracized by age, religion and education as well as the deprived labor force.

UDP is therefore committed to facilitate development through self-employment, improved health, increased literacy and skills, ensured self-reliance and sustained changed in life .

UDP believes in transparent, sound and accountability management. Appropriate planning, devoted and efficient staff force would enable target groups achieve self-reliance thus, bringing a positive change in their lives.

	To free individuals from the exploitative mechanism of the society by raising consciousness.
	To make people aware about the root causes of poverty in order to encourage collective solution.
	To ensure beneficiaries continual participation through awareness raising and advocacy.
	To intensify support on the role of women in development.
	To assist battered, separated, divorced and widowed women through technical support & economic assistance and linkage.
	To facilitate Adibasi for mainstreaming in the society, supporting cultural preservation and indigenous people’s rights.
	To improve family care by providing health and nutrition education, pure water and sanitation & family planning and child care program.
	To motivate people undertake economic development activities to attain self-reliance.
	To capacitate beneficiaries by providing technical training, IGA management skill, group mobilization and market linkage.
	To increase educational level through primary, adolescent and adult education.
	To provide humanitarian assistance including disaster preparedness to vulnerable communities.
	To invest in human resource development and ensure organizational sustainability.
	To extend cooperative support to government agencies, international and local non-government organizations and others involved in development activities.
